Yes you can get pureflix or any other apk with this you may have to side load it. The big difference between the two is the faster processor in the 4k stick. If you are just streaming odds are you don't need the 4k so little content available, and you will need super, super fast internet to stream in 4 k anyway

The diff with 4k is if you have or will have a 4k tv in the future you'll want to get the 4k stick to stream and watch shows that broadcast in 4k. The 4k is 4 times the resolution of regular 1080p tv. Some New shows and channels broadcast in 4k, but all old shows are not.
