No. The 1st thing you need to do is load it up with wit streaming app or sign up for Amazon Video so you can watch movies or you can find an Iptv to put on it so you can watch your favorite channels and to make it clear you need to subscribe to an iptv service. Where you could be paying around $20

There's hulu, netflix, sling and etc. You choose one and create an account to access the movies you want to watch.
