This can be caused by a lot of factors (too many devices connected to the same wifi, slow speed and bandwidth from ISP, etc.). As a general rule these days if you are using streaming services (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video) you need a continuous wifi download speed of at least 10 mbps, 15 - 20 mbps for live TV and 25 mbps if you're watching shows in 4K or above resolution. This is usually not an issue with broadband ISP's however, if your service is from a DSL provider a lot of them only push out a max of anywhere from 3 - 12 mbps.
