Is it possible to buy the ad-free version at Best Buy? null

Best Buy does not sell this model without ads (Amazon calls ads "Special Offers") but you can go to your Amazon account on your phone or tablet and go to Device tab and have them removed for a $20 fee.

Hi Lucy, Thank you for your question. Best Buy currently only sells the Amazon Kindle with ads, but you can upgrade on your Amazon account by paying a fee to get rid of the ads. Here are the steps to remove ads: -Go to Manage Your Devices. -Select Devices, and then select your Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet. -Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. -A pop-up window then displays the price to remove ads. -Select End Offers and Pay the Fee to proceed.
