• Yes. You just take it to customer service. Ask how much it is worth. Bring your charger, because it is a price difference without it and with it. Then you will get store credit and you can use the store credit on anything in best buy!

• Debbie, my thought is that the basic Kindle is everything you need. I didn't know that Best Buy would take your Fire HD as a trade in. My wife preferred her old Kindle, but she is getting used to the new one which is a touch model as they no longer offer her old model.
