“Why I have to pair it with Bluetooth device ( Samsung Tv) in order to listen to audible books? I have to buy HD cable in addition to do it? So frustrating”

Hello Nancy, the Kindle Paperwhite does not have internal speakers to play audio books. In order to listen to an audio book through the Kindle you will need a pair of Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speaker. Have a great day!

The device's waterproofing makes a headphone jack impractical. CHEAP Bluetooth headphones or a receiver work great with ours. Most cell phones don't come with a headphone jack anymore either.
