• no, it does not ....it has a wire to charge it with your computer. but you can buy a charger just for use with this model from amazon

• Actually, I bought my wife the Signature Edition, and it does not come with a power supply, only a charging cable.

• I just bought another kindle, the Signature Paperwhite and the charging cable comes with it but not the plug. I bought that extra from Amazon for $19.99. The charger for my former kindle paperwhite does not fit into the new signature kindle paperwhite.
