It’s supposed to be for indoor use only. I’ve used it outside for Christmas lights, but wrapped loosely with a small ziplock bag and under protection of the porch. Had no problem, even when it snowed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It must be used in a weather protected area like a parch or garage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming you can have it somewhat covered, on porch or in a baggy over it in an outdoor outlet attached to the house it should be fine. I wouldn't have it fully exposed to the elements. The main issue you might have is your WIFI might not be strong enough to get outside of the house. Also all smart plugs are perpendicular to how the outside cover on the outlet opens. You will have an issue getting it to plug in with the cover,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it's rated for outdoor use
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one outdoor for Christmas lights. It is under an awning but through heavy rain it has been fine. I have a second plug permanently outside to operate patio lights and it works great 18 months later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have my Xmas lights plugged in my garage and Alexa reaches em.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the smart plug is for indoor use only. The instructions state "Plug your device into an indoor power outlet".
