Hello Fargo, you want to know if the Amazon Smart Plug will work with 5g. If you are referring to your in-home Wi-Fi network, yes it will work. If you are referring to 5g with your cellular network it will not connect to it as this a Wi-Fi only device, it is not recommended to use the hot spot from your cell phone as it is not a stable connection. Hope this has answered your question. Have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My wifi is 5G and it works great! As long as the Alexa works well than these should work just as good!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it works on 2g. Usually there's a place on your router to separate the bands. We had to do that so we could connect or Echo dots and smart plugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a 5G router then yes. If you are asking if you can connect via 5G straight from your phone, then no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to add this device to the Alexa app on her phone, and both devices seem to be connected to the 5 Ghz network in her building. Super easy setup and works perfectly. So even though the box specifically calls for 2.4 Ghz, it works great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most routers normally work on both 2.4g and 5g unless you specifically disabled the 2.4 channel. Not sure why you would want to disable the 2.4 as more devices work on that channel than probably the 5g.
