If you go to the Alexa app (under "settings"), you can now enable an always on feature. You would just use the wakeup word Alexa.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a software update that will allow the tap to be used hands-free which is just like an echo or a DOT.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the interoperability between the Tap and the Dot, but you can set the Tap to “Active Listening” in the settings on your Alexa App so you don’t have to “tap” it at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. However, if you have the latest version of the Tap, you can configure it to use hands-free mode and it will behave exactly like the Dot. If you have Amazon Prime, or Amazon unlimited music, you can play songs directly through the Tap. For Example, "Alexa, play some classic rock." (Think of the Tap as a smaller, less-expensive Echo that has a bulit-in cordless charger that makes it very portable and convenient to use.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry you need to tap it. That's what is so cool. It's not always on recording
