Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This CPU is only compatible with AM4 socket motherboards. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/?compatible_with=J8drxr
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer: no. Why it won’t work: No AMD CPU will work on this board the socket type (where you install the cpu) is not correct. If you already have that motherboard you need to look up the correct socket type and buy a processor with the same socket. I believe it is the LGA 1151 (verify on your own). google “LGA 1551 CPU” and find compatible processors. If you have the CPU, which has the AM4 socket type, you will look for “AM4 motherboard”. Since this is a 3rd generation (newest) AM4 CPU, I would try and get the newest one you can afford in the form factor you need (ATX, ITX, MICRO ITX...) just to avoid the unlikely chance things are not compatible (even if hardware should work together on paper there is always the slim chance of anomalies).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is not compatible with intel motherboards. Inexpensive quality MicroATX MOBOs can be had for as little as $50-75, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it is not compatible. AMD cpu's and intel chipsets aren't compatible and Intel cpu's aren't compatible with AMD chipsets.
