- Answer The Asus Tuf Gaming X570 is a highly rated, fantastic motherboard for the price with great VRM and PCIe 4.0. If your more budget minded, then the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max is a great choice with PCIe 3.0. Either way, make sure your RAM is fast speed, 3200 or greater, to take full advantage of that 3700x 8 core 16 threads.

- Answer The Ryzen 7 3700x is not a graphics card like the 2070 super is, it is a processor(CPU). The 2070 super is the part that handles ray tracing, and the 3700x processor would not hold the 2070 super back in anyway.

- Answer You don’t need thermal paste - the cooler has paste covered by a plastic sheet that you pull off prior to installing it on top of the chip.

- Answer The 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs are not supported for 1st gen Ryzen MOBOs, which your 1700 runs on. You will also need to upgrade your MOBO too.

- Answer The processor doesn't really care. If your motherboard has four RAM slots, the CPU will use them. See your motherboard manual for any limits such as speed or total amount - the motherboard manufacturer will usually have a QVL (qualified vendor list) with all the RAM vendors/kits they've tested.

QuestionI'm having issues with my pc and i want to rule out my cpu being faulty so if I purchase this and try it out and it isn't cpu being faulty am I allowed to return this for a full refund?

- Answer There are other ways to see if the cpu is faulty, before dropping the money into something I would hop on YouTube and see the alternatives to checking if it’s a cpu problem first cause if you can return the item i know there is a restocking fee of about 75 bucks or so just keep that in mind.

- Answer Your mount should already be installed on your motherboard. This will only come with the CPU the cooler and the USB header attachment for the LED lights

QuestionHello will this work as a switch for me my Model is hp pavilion gaming desktop 690-0020? Also what would this help me with in terms of streaming or will this only help what my game looks like ( im new to pc stuff )

- Answer that particular PC - uses an HP custom motherboard - which according to it's bios information will not support that cpu - they would have to release a bios update to include support for it - which they haven't - and then you would have to update the bios - which while not particularely hard - if you don't know what your doing suddenly becomes a LOT more difficult and is risky either way - so long and short sorry, but no. here is a link to the specs - which has a list of supported cpu's on it - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05970262 as for the differences - the ryzen 3700x has what looks to be double the cores and double the threads - on a smaller lithography the 2400g is 14 nm - while the 3700x is 7nm - so honestly it would probably handle streaming a fair bit smoother and also allow the game to run a bit better - unfortunately again I must state because your computer uses a custom HP motherboard it will not support the ryzen 3700x unless they release a bios update for it to include support for it - which as of 4/16/2020 they have not - sorry for the bad news but it looks like to upgrade this far your going to have to go in a bit deep and invest in a few different parts - honestly your pobably better off looking up various guides on building a pc first and doing research on the matter - and taking the time to educate yourself more on what goes into a pc - not saying this to be mean by any measure - and consider ordering all the parts yourself and puting together your own custom pc - it'll be a fair bit more involved and complicated but really I personally think it's the best way to go - prebuilts get these sort of roadblocks quiet often - limiting their future upgradeability - not a complaint against you - just an observation about the nature of the pre built pc market in general - hope this helps somewhat and wish you the best luck. for easy to find and fairly trustable names on youtube for pc building guides I would suggest bitwit - linus tech tips - there are more check around - but personally I find the one done by bitwit to be fairly explanitory - they kind of do it from the perspective of having you shadow them as they build one - so it really kind of gives you the indepth look at all that goes into it - and some of the choices to make - and also there are numberous tech tuber channels out there on youtube with a plethora of information of various components and more than one price point guide for what parts your looking at for various price range on custom build pc's - again best of luck and hope this helps.

- Answer As long as your motherboard has an updated bios it should work. Check your motherboard manufacturer and model number on their website to download the latest update and updating instructions. Most B350/X370 and newer chipset motherboards should have an updated bios available that enables current gen Ryzen 3xxx cpus.

- Answer Yes it does. The colors cycle while running, but you have to plug it into one of your motherboard's USB connectors for the lights to work.

- Answer Hey mao4, I would suggest the Ryzen5 5600X 6-Core, 12-Threads with a good B550 motherboard. Better performance than the Ryzen7 3700X.
