A:Answer Word on the street is that October 1, 2019 is when Ingram Micro, a big distributor, will have the Ryzen 9 back in stock. That would make the first week in October the likely time that competition escalates again for this product, and prices begin to come down. If you look around the Internet, you'll see really high prices by those doing arbitrage. Once AMD gets these into the distribution network and everyone can get them (like all of the major retailers), then you and I will be able to get this CPU. Now, that is still a month away, and samples (or teasers) will possibly trickle in and be snapped up due to the high demand. This is on purpose to get the demand up and to allow the fab to catch up. AMD of course wants to take advantage of the holiday rush, so they will do their best to get them on some boats soon.
I can wait, as I went ahead and used a Ryzen 5 2400G until I can get the Ryzen 9. I'll just have an extra CPU and cooler once I upgrade.
