• A:Answer https://www.nowinstock.net/computers/processors/amd/ if you make an account you can get an alert for the specific site you want to buy from. BestBuy stocks typically 1-2 times per week and sometimes again 1 hour after the intial stock sells out so keep an eye on it if you miss the first stock alert. I happened to get mine ordered after missing the initial stock alert and happened to be refreshing 10 minutes later, bestbuy stocked it again so I got mine before the stock alert went out. Typically you have about 1-2 min after the alert before it's out of stock so be close to a comp.

• A:Answer No, you’ll need to get a socket AM4 motherboard. I’d recommend looking at X570 if you plan on overclocking or B450 if you plan to use out of the box settings. Just make sure you update the bios to ensure compatibility.

Q: QuestionMy 3950X fails to work after a freeze and restart of the system. I am able to get into UEFI BIOS and there I can see the CPU is identified. But when it starts to load Win10, the system restarts automatically every time. Any idea why this happened?

• A:Answer If it was an add-on via Best Buy, I imagine they will email you a digital code on or around 11/10, when the game releases. If it was a promotion through the manufacturer, typically you have to create an account on their website and register the product, and they should have steps from there.

• A:Answer The Ryzen 3950x does not come with a cooler. You must use a liquid cooling system. Check the AMD website. They list compatible coolers. I paired mine with a Corsair 115i and it works great. Super easy to install.
