• A:Answer Apple doesn't truly make a mesh network. The best you can hope for is a roaming one. But with this unit. I think it clones the primary ssid so it might work.

• A:Answer Networking wise yes, this will function as expected. It will have a different controller than the unifi line though and can't be controlled by the Unifi controller. The amplifi line uses a mobile app to control.

• A:Answer It should be able to work with any 3rd party wifi system, including hotspots. Check the ubiquiti forums for more information.
