QuestionIs this compatible with Nintendo switch lite? I’m about to purchase a Nintendo switch lite for the first time and thought about getting Animal Crossing but don’t want to waste my money if it doesn’t work. Help please!!

- Answer Yes, Animal Crossing along with all Nintendo Switch games are compatible with the Switch Lite. The only thing to note is that the Switch Lite can only be played handheld and not docked (tv/monitor).

QuestionWhat is the difference between getting a physical and digital version of this game? I am planning to get a switch lite and this game, but the physical version is sold out, what does it mean by digital?

- Answer A digital version will require an internet connection so it can be downloaded onto your Switch the first time you play. It's linked to your Nintendo account so if you loose/break your Switch you can always re-download it later. There is no physical case/game when buying digitally and if you get tired of the game it's impossible to sell a digital copy. I hope that helps!

- Answer I pre-ordered the digital version on February 28th and received my code this morning on March 5th. happy to report they're falling in line with all the other retailers and finally sending out their digital codes :^)

- Answer A 6 year old would definitely be able to play this game. There is a story line that is easy to follow but is not necessary. This is mainly a free-play type of game. You start out with an island that you build up to a 5-star rating. You craft items out of things that you find on your island such as fruits, bugs, fish, wood, ect. You then use those items to decorate your island and your home. This game is fun for any age.

- Answer Not a bundle exactly, but Nintendo has announced a special edition Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch (BBY.COM SKU: 6401728). This does NOT include the game, however.

- Answer Hi! The best way is either to buy a Nintendo gift card or the game through a digital code. I think both can be purchased here in the website or in the store. If you decide to buy a Nintendo gift card the person that will receive the game can just download it through Nintendo.com when they create their user. If you buy the game digital version online, they will send you a code through email for which you download directly to the console. Hope this helps.

- Answer You can play without it if you have someone else on the same wifi as you in “local play”, but if you want to connect with friends farther away you will need an online subscription. But at $20 for a year it’s a decent price compared with other platforms

- Answer You can play anytime without wifi. Visiting other players islands and getting new designs requires a online connection but other than that you do not need it to get the most out of the game

- Answer You need a Switch Dock with its power supply and HDMI cord connected to power and the TV respectively. Then you slide your Switch into the dock, and slide the joycons off the Switch if you don't have a different Switch controller.
