I don't have a definite answer on this, but don't forget that your home refrigerator isn't moved from one location to another (except possibly a matter of inches to clean behind it), certainly not on a regular basis, and doesn't have to contend with different weather (including temperatures higher or lower than comfortable) and terrain conditions, including dirt, sand, and bumping as you wheel it along. Not even on an RV. Not to say that it couldn't last many years, just pointing out the reason a warranty might not be as long as on a major appliance.
