    • Answer You have to have power source to charge with this device. Here is my solution for using it as a hub during charging. What I have found out if you plug a 60 watt battery block into the PD port it will charge whatever is in the 3 USB ports. This is the setup that I use for traveling so as to not have to carry so many different charging blocks for various charging needs for USB devices. I use the BestBuy USB 60 watt charger with this device. So for the 60 watt charger will allow Windows PCs to be charged as well via it's USB-C port. I also have USB-C to USB-A adapters as well so that I am able to charge my USB-C devices as well. Then should I need to I can use this hub to connect to my cellphone, GoPro as well as other items to connect to my USB-C port of the computer as well via the hub all at one time. As mention in other posts. the device is built to last and doesn't feel cheaply made. For the price that purchased if for it was a good investment seeing how many things today are USB powered with more coming out every day. I also purchase extra cables made specially for the 60 watt charging block just to be sure that they were not some cheaply made knock offs. So if you are looking for a compact solution for your charging needs as well as a USB hub for your computer. Get the BB 60 watt USB charger, Adapters for using USB-C to USB-A to use with this Anker device and a couple of extra cables and you have the solution to your travel needs.

    • Answer Yes, but do not draw more than the rated 60 watts otherwise you may damage components. When using it it should only draw what is required plus a bit more. PMP

  • QuestionWill this work with powering a META Quest 3 VR headset? I will connecting a 35W belt/battery to the USB-C power input of the Anker HUB, (photo of belt/battery specs attached), then connecting the Anker HUB to the Quest 3 VR-headset that uses up to 18W.

    • Answer Yes. The C PD port on the hub supports up to 45W charging when connected with a wall charger and a C to C cable that both support 60W PD charging.
