QuestionWhat kind of software does it work with? Can it be used with any?

- Answer It needs two different programs technically, 1 on the mobile phone. And one on the computer, both ankermake apps. But if you prefer cura, prusaslicer, orca, or superslicer, you can use them, then import the gcode files into ankermake studio to print. I will say ankermake studio is just a fork of prusaslicer.

- Answer 220mm x 220mm x 250mm. That maths out to roughly 8.6"x8.6"x9.8" in freedom units.

QuestionWhat accessories come with the printer? Are the printer and associated apps easy enough to use and follow by a 12year old ?

- Answer It comes with everything you see in the picture but not filament. It comes with a little tool kit to work on the parts and an extra extruder nozzle. I would recommend printing a scrapper tool which you can find in the app and remove plastic from the build plate.

- Answer Standard 1.75mm filament, gets up to 300c so you can pretty much use any, does well with petg and tpu

Questiondoes this 3d printer do multi-color filament for multi-color models, or is it single color?

- Answer It is a single extruder but you can pause the print in the slicer software then remove the filament and insert a new color. The software will then resume using the new color.

QuestionI want to print something that uses ASA filament, can it use ASA? and the item Im printing uses a 0.40 nozzle (does it have a .40 nozzle?) with a 0.15mm layer, would that work?

- Answer ASA has to be in an enclosed printer, so you’d have to find or build an enclosure, and hope it’s tight enough to keep the heat in. It prints at slightly higher temperature than ABS (250c being the overlap point that both can reasonably print at). I’m willing to bet there’s someone on YouTube who’s figured out how to do it but it’s not recommended basically is what I’m saying. I’ve had no issues using a .04 printing it. It’s fairly toxic as well. You should ask yourself what properties you desire from your print. If it’s durability and UV resistance you’re looking for, PETG is superior to PLA in that regard.

- Answer If there is a protection plan offered, I didn't see the option when I purchased. Odds are good you only get the manufacturer's warranty. Good sides: It's easy enough to identify and perform most repairs and maintenance yourself, the printer is extraordinarily simple to tear down and feels robust.
