• This unit comes with it's own mounting mast. Just bolt down to one of your ceiling joists.

• There was already a pipe in the attic where the previous owner had an antenna.

• There was an existing pipe in the attic attached to a rafter that held the antenna that we replaced. I just swapped antennas.

• Installing the Clearstream 4 V in an attic often involves bolting the included J mount to a ceiling or floor joist. It can be bolted to any flat surface that can take the lag bolts. The materials of your roof are an important factor to consider when considering an attic mount. If you have a metal roof, a tile roof, a tile roof, a roof with solar panels, or a radiant barrier/tech shield in the attic, an attic install may not be ideal.
