Most treadmill manufacturers do not advise utilizing a surge protector, despite the fact that many individuals prefer to take extra measures. This is due to the unit's existing built-in surge protectors. The surge protector could overload and malfunction if it is not rated for the amount of power needed by your treadmill, thereby damaging your equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit provides power to whatever is plugged into it in the event that your regular electric power goes out. 1-This unit probably does NOT provide enough power for your treadmill. 2-You state that the manufacturer recommends that your treadmill be plugged into a surge suppressor. While this unit also provides surge suppression, you probably really need something like the APC P11VNT3 or similar..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not need a UPS for a treadmill. You only need a surge protector for the electronics. A good surge protector can be purchased for a fraction of the cost of a UPS which has an expensive battery and is designed to keep electronic equipment working when the power fails. That is not necessary for a treadmill.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never plug anything with inductive motors into a UPS.

Our UPS units were specifically designed for computer/IT types of equipment and have never been tested with a treadmill, for example. For motorized types of equipment, we would recommend one of our Smart-UPS instead. These are more robust units and are better equipped to handle the inrush current from motorized equipment.
