Thank you for your interest in our products. The G5BLK is designed more to be connected to audio equipment. The G5BLK Filters provides surge protection and noise filtering for AV systems. It also has isolated power filter banks that eliminate electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) as a source of AV signal degradation. Our BackUPS units would provide some power conditioning but not as much as the G5BLK would. Also the G5BLK would not provide a battery back up during a power outage as well.
