The model currently sold is the BVN900M1. This model does NOT have a replaceable battery. This is apparently the case with all the new models of UPS's sold by APC. They no longer have replaceable batteries. So hang onto your old UPS, because when the batteries in the current models die after 3-5 years, you'll just have to throw them away and buy a whole new UPS. Thanks, APC!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the battery is non-user replaceable. I am sure you can crack it open and replace it, but its not like the old units that had a removable cover to replace the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The battery is not field-replaceable by the user. Ignore any comments in the FAQ which imply the battery can be replaced by the user. Owner manual states that the battery cannot be field-replaced by the user.
