Turns out this little yellow connector was very difficult to push in. It felt like I was going to break it. I decided to see what happened if I pushed it further. I thought I'd break it, but it actually sank just enough to line up with the feet. So, crisis averted. Not a very intuitive way to set this up, but at least I got it working.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your interest in our products. The battery connector on the bottom of the BVN900M1 should push in enough that the UPS sits flat on the surface and it shouldn't stick out beyond the feet on the bottom. I recommend reaching out to an APCbySchneider at your convenience for further assistance in resolving the issue. We offer email and chat services through our support site.
