QuestionWhen I lose power, is the switch-over to the UPS instantaneous? My power often flickers, i.e. goes out for less than a second, but this is sufficient to cause my router and cable TV box to reboot. Will the UPS prevent this?

- Answer The UPS will switch instantly between power-lose of power-power and anything plugged into it will not lose power. The only caveat to the items plugged in to the UPS exceed its power ratings.

QuestionI want to plug my seperate modem and router into a ups. Is that the best and safest method or is my surge protector fine that they are in no. No issues at all just curious

- Answer Thank you for reaching out to us. You can plug your modem and router into one of our UPS or a surge protector. The benefit to using the UPS over a surge protector is if there is small power outage the modem and router will stay on since they would be protected by a battery back up.

- Answer This unit does NOT have a replaceable battery The next model number up BN650M1 does have a replaceable battery and pricing is slightly more than this unit. Well worth it when the battery dies out the you can just buy a new battery rather then trowing out the less expesive non replaceable battery APC.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The BN450M is a relatively small unit in terms of capacity. It is rated for 255 watts or 450 VA. We would not recommend connecting an electric heater into it, but the unit should be able to support the TV and game console without issue.

QuestionI have had this unit for 4 years with only my desktop and 5G Wi-Fi plugged in. Lately it has been beeping I did the unplugging everything. I plug everything back in and its good for awhile eventually the beep comes back.Does it need a new internal battery

- Answer Yes it will protect your computer I have it connected to a machine it's like casino machine and we have a lot of issue with the electrical system in Puerto Rico and that thing worked perfectly fine I don't have no issue with my machines or my computers it lasts like 30 minutes on I had enough time to save my stuff before the shutdown I truly recommended big time
