Thank you for your interest in our products. The BN450MNW would provide a battery backup during a power outage. However this unit only supports 255 watts connected to it. I suspect that the recliner pulls more power than that so it would likely overload the UPS. I recommend seeing how much power the recliner draws and size the UPS accordingly. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may provide some lift, will depend on how much energy the motor requires to push them up. Small battery not made for high output an AC motor might use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just looked it up online and it says most recliners have only a 58 W power supply so it should be fine and to use on your parents recliner! Just check the tag on the recliner where it tells you the model number and serial number and It will tell you the number of Watts it uses, so if it's less than 255 W it should definitely be able to take care of it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The output. max configurable power (Watts). is 255 Watts / 450VA (as per the documentation). You will need to check the same for the electric recliner, if its upto 255 Watts then this model of UPS will work for it, if your recliner uses more than 255 Watts of power then this will not work.
