A:AnswerThis is not the UPS for you. I'm not an APC representative, but this unit is only rated for 865 Watts. A 1/2 horse motor is rated for about 650 Watts with surge wattage of 1800. If you get a load over 865 Watts, the UPS may shut down. At 650 Watts, you're unlikely to get more than 10 minutes of run time.
A:AnswerIt should be able to. You should check the draw on your equipment and compare it to the rating. When it switches it will start beeping and wake you up so it won't be an issue.
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry. If you install our Powerchute Personal Edition software, you can disable the on battery alarm. If the software is not needed, you can simply remove it once the alarm is disabled.
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry. If the projector truly pulls 14 amps, then it would not come with a standard 15 amp plug and would most likely have a 20 amp connector. If this is the case, this UPS would be too small to support the projector. If the projector has a standard 15 amp plug, then we would need to know it's maximum power draw in watts in order to accurately size a solution. There should be a label on the projector with this information.
A:AnswerYou would have to ask the manufacturer about that. I believe it ONLY covers your computer equipment, but if the computer that runs your quilting machine is plugged into the APC, then I imagine it would! Call the manufacturer. Ask THEM!
A:AnswerYes. You download the software from the APC website. You connect it via the included USB cable, fire up the software, and it provides current status, history, access to tweaks, etc.
Simple as that.
A:AnswerThank you for your recent inquiry. If your UPS model number is BX1500LCD, then the replacement battery part number is APCRBC109. For the BX1500G you would use APCRBC124.
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry. You can cycle through the display options to see the current battery charge. Instructions are available in the user guide:
