I have used a space heater on my strip and no problem..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably yes. The unit is set to detect an overload at 12 amps, which means that you can theoretically have up to 1440 watts of appliances running simultaneously through it. So if your space heater (plus whatever else you have plugged in and running) doesn't push that limit, then it should work.

Usually it is home electronics that you would want to protect from surges. You would want to make sure the space heater draws less than 15 amps of power so it doesn't overload the unit.
