• iPads are available as Wi-Fi + Cellular models. However, this particular model is a Wi-Fi only iPad.

• Hello if you get the wifi+cellular model you can use it on a Cell phone network after you add it to your t-mobile plan. if you get the wifi only model then you would be limited to wifi or your mobil hot spot but you would still be abule to text and face time from the ipad with the same apple ID. if you wind one thats a good price you cant go wrong JUST don't get the 32gb model, you will be out of storage within a week
