Is this a touch screen? And why is it so cheap? null

This iPad has a touch screen. The 32GB model (the base model) is so cheap because this is their "student model", and they want to sell it to lots of students. It is a very capable tablet. I had an iPad Air 2 (2017) before this, and the difference in speed and "peppiness" is noticeable. I have no regrets getting this tablet.

It is touchscreen. With my other iPad I could set the sleep- timer and with this one they changed the wording and I just can’t understand it. What I do doesn’t keep it silent overnight. I really don’t know for sure why it is so cheap. But I’m not crazy about it. I’m used to iPad Pro and this one changed the keyboard a little, and it doesn’t have facial recognition. There are things I still don’t know how to do on it. I myself like the pro I have better. If I figure things out I will amend this answer. Sorry I’m not much help.
