• Just Download Word from the App Store, but Pages comes preloaded which is the Mac equivalent. And yes, I have used an Apple Wireless keyboard with my IPad. Just put the keyboard into Find Mode and look under the IPads Bluetooth (Settings>Bluetooth)

• You would just need to download word doc app from the Apple Store. If the keyboard is bluetooth it should connect perfectly.
