Well, assuming it supports the airplay/airdrop features/frequencies from apple then you should be able to. Both devices must be connected to the same WiFi network. The TV can be hardwired (Ethernet) into your router and it'll work the same as if it was connected wirelessly. I can't guarantee feature availability as I don't know what model of Samsung TV you have and if it is a smart tv or not. Hope this helps!
