• Not much difference. My 5th generation iPad was wearing out, had less memory & storage capacity. The battery was diminishing and the button function was giving me trouble. 10th generation iPad did away with the button at the bottom and uses a less troublesome top side button for functionality. It works better. Overall, I find them both very similar.
