• No. Just use Bluetooth and connect your iPhone hotspot. We do it all the time.

• Cellular service is not needed to stream from your iPhone Hotspot as the iPad is able to pick up the hotspot with Wi-Fi.

• No you do not. Cellular means it pairs hand in hand with your cell phone providers internet connection, without the cellular you will need to connect it to WIFI. The non cellular IPAD works with hot spot :)
