• You can sign up for a month and then cancel if you would like and then sign up again. The best alternative is to use the Personal Hotspot on your iPhone and save the extra data charge and hassle.

• If you purchase the tablet outright and do not have a lease on it through a carrier, then I would imagine that you could start and stop your cellular service whenever you like.
