Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the iPad air and the iPad pro?

• A:Answer There are 6 main differences: (1) The Pro has a barely noticeable slightly larger screen; (2) the Pro has more ram (I believe 8 versus 4); (3) the Pro has a faster processor; (4) the Pro has a 120 refresh rate, versus a 60 for the Air; (5) the base model of the Pro has 128GB of storage, versus 64GB for the Air; and (6) $200! The Air is already a powerhouse, so most people would probably not notice the difference between the Pro and Air in terms of performance (my kid has an Air, and I can’t see a performance difference). The 120 versus 60 refresh rate is only noticeable if you’re already used to 120 elsewhere (like your phone), but even then, not really a big deal (my phone is 60, and I’m still fine with the phone). The 0.1 size difference is not something you’d notice unless you’ve got both devices side by side. The storage is what it is. I would think 64 is enough for most, but maybe not. I have the Pro and I’m not even close using 64, let alone 128. So why did I get the Pro? Because I want this thing to be future proof. Hopefully, it will still hold its own 5 years from now.

• A:Answer You will not lose anything. Your kindle and audible libraries are stored on the cloud. At worst, you will have to reinstall the app and download them again locally. I recently bought a new iPad. During the setup process, it retrieved all my setting and software from my iPhone. Once the setup was completed, my kindle app and library was downloaded on my new IPad. You are good.

• A:Answer You do not need to purchase any as it won’t help. Apple does not give you the ability to add a sd card and the WiFi only model does not allow you add a SIM card. If you want more storage, buy a bigger gig. If you want to add a SIM card, buy the cellular model. It is a beast and can handle everything you throw at it.

• A:Answer In my opinion you don’t need one due to the durability of the glass; however, if you want one, and you use the Apple Pencil 2 a lot, i would recommend the “Paper Like” protector because it gives the sensation of writing on actual paper when using the Apple Pencil. You can check out the Paper Like protector on their website. If you travel with it a great deal, I do recommend Apple Care which covers accidental damage.
