Yes. If you have a printer that can connect to a wireless network then you'll be able to print from your I-Pad.

Does your printer take a USB-C connection? If not, you'll need a cable with a regular USB connector at one end and a USB-C connector at the other end. I just tried hooking my iPhone 10 XS Max to my HP 8600 OfficeJet Pro printer, which is about 10+ years old. I got a message in printer's window that my iPhone is an unknown device and I had to install some software on my computer. It thinks my iPhone is a storage device. I think my printer can't handle a direct connection to the iPhone, although it was able to start charging the iPhone. Printing via WiFi, is the easiest way to go. If you still want a hard wired connection to your printer, you're going to need to google your printer and ask the question. You may find WiFi is the only answer to your question, and the simplest solution.
