my new i pad wont charge what causes this null

My first thoughts are the cable. Try another cable. If it’s still not charging call Apple / download Apple support app and try with them.

Make sure you have the latest update. Mine did the same thing but after updating I -was good. Also make sure your base for the charger is at least the 20 w. Hope helped.

Bad cord. My last one wouldn’t charge and shop said it could be the plug in port may need to be soldered in place or new port or mine turned out the mother board was shot.
