Hey, I would like to recommend that you get the IPad due to its seamless compatibility with the Apple Pencil. However, I know that Graphic Designers will use Desktop versions of software such as Adobe Photoshop which be compatible with the Microsoft Surface. Best of luck!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m a tattoo artist and graphic designer. I have both the surface pro and the iPad Pro. I’d say it depends on what your needs are. If you need to run photoshop and illustrator or any other desktop software I’d say surface pro. But if you can use the apps available on App Store from Apple, like affinity photo, then the iPad may be a better fit. Both are great pieces of tech.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased iPad Pro 12.9 for graphic design program. No need for security program with iPad but with surface pro you still need a security program. I love it and I bought the pen too! I bought the Apple Smart Keyboard for $170 and took it back and got a Logitech for $60 and I like it better.
