“This item reads "On Display" instead of "In Stock" what exactly does that mean? Is it currently in use? Is it a used item? There's options for a "Open Box" for less $, so I'm confused about "On Display"...”

On display is you can see the product in the store but it may not be available for purchase at that time. You can order it online but you can see and usually test functionality at the store to see how it looks and feels

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It means its NOT FOR SALE. Its being used inside a case or setup display to show it off in the store as a display model. Eventually it will be available to purchase when there are already new ones available in stock. You will get it for a slightly cheaper price but its been running non stop since release day so its not worth it.
