Is this the mini 4 or the mini 5? null

This is the mini 5, sometimes referred to as the iPad Mini (2019). If you decide to purchase, note that most iPad mini 4 cases won't work properly with this model, as the cutouts don't line up with the rear camera or the volume buttons. I just got this model recently and am pleased with it so far.

This is the new mini 5 with the a12 chip. New front camera. Looks identical to the 4.

It's technically the Mini 5, but was released as just the "iPad Mini". It is the 2019 model.

I reviewed the iPad Mini 5. Love it.
