The difference is size and storage space. If you want a compact device bigger than the size of the phone go with the mini. If you’re using it for projects or want more capabilities, go with the iPad
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, it's obviously smaller. Other than that, not much difference. The display is 7-3/4" diagonally, 4-11/16" x 6-1/4" actual size. The whole device is 8"x5-14". Right at 1/4" thick. Weight is 11.4 oz. Everything else works just like a regular iPad, including the fact that it can use all normal iPad accessories, including the Apple Pen.
