What does it mean a 2 year contract? null

It’s either a 2 year agreement that you have to pay monthly for the cellular plan, like they used to be on phones (your locked in) OR it could be a 2 yr payment plan that breaks down the price over that period (not locked in). Read the fine print or ask a Best Buy person to clarify for you.

It means that for the price listed you would need to sign a two year contract with Verizon or extend your existing contract.
