Depends on what features you’re looking for, personally I think the tapping on your AirPod feature is more convenient than pressing on a button. But I think the 3rd Gen has better battery life compared to the 2nd Gen. You have to weigh the cons and pros and decide what’s best for you

What I love about the 3rd Generation is the sound! It’s like surround sound in a movie theatre. Fun to listen to music in these!
