Definitely the sound. The quality is overall better, especially with the spatial audio it allows for you to listen to your music while blocking out outside noises. I have about all generations and the 3rd is the best.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound is the big difference. They are also a bit bigger so they may be more or less comfortable in your ears. I personally love these because they sound like I’m in a movie theatre with surround sound. Fun to listen to music in these!
