• Not sure what happened. Air Pods and AirPods Pro both had wire when I purchased.

• If the USB don't fit and you don't have adapter you can either use a batter charger or your standard 5W wall charger... any common wall plug which accepts usb would work --- if you have wireless, you can go the three times slower route and charge that way.
