A:AnswerYa. If on an Apple device, drag down the control center from top right of screen, touch the volume button that has an image of the AirPods (they have to be in use), and in the 3 options that come up go to Conversation Awareness and toggle it to Off.
A:AnswerThey connect great to my Fire TV in Bluetooth settings. Even the volume, play/pause etc controls work. Very convenient from bed. IDK what brand SmertTV you have but they probably work - just go to Bluetooth settings on the TV and pair them.
