• Volume control is done only with the iPhone. No volume controls on the AirPod pros

• From the model of phone I’m guessing your not using an iPhone product to Bluetooth to? Only iPhones , iPods , iPads, or iMacs products will only give you the pass through noise cancelling and transparency features. Apple wants people to use they’re AirPods with they’re other Apple branded items for the great features they offer. Other brand phones will just let you Bluetooth with regular volume control sound but won’t be 100% noice canceling. Hope I’ve covered your issue for you. Good luck.
