You use your iPhone to track the AirTag
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have an iPhone, you wouldn’t need an AirTag. Just enable FindMy on your phone. This will find your phone with any other Apple device. If I misplaced my phone, I would just use my Apple Watch or iPad to find it. AirTag is great for other items like car keys, a pet, backpack, or to hide a high value item like a camera case. I have one hidden in my drone case. What I like about AirTag is you buy them, apply them, then forget about them till you need em’.

If it’s an iPhone you can track your phone through iCloud but you CCM use your phone to track where this AirTag is located. Again, if you don’t have an iPhone or associated apple device you will have to have an appleID to associate the AirTag, but it’s free to start and assign.

For instance; I will set the AirTag on my phone, with my husband’s iPhone and vice versa. This will allow us to track each other and our iPhones, should one come up missing!
