I may be mistaken, but you would need an Apple TV to connect as a soundbar. Spotify, yes.

If you're attempting to use HomePods as an external speaker for (from) an LG TV (via Bluetooth, AirPlay, etc), no. Various TVs and other devices can have an AirPlay receiver, you need an AirPlay transmitter here. That transmitter might be an Apple TV 4K, or various other Apple devices, for instance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The mini does not function as a standalone bluetooth device, so no, you will not be able to connect you wifi TV. It does however work if you have an Apple TV device, to which you can connect this as an output speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer is technically yes you can hook it up to your LG however, it sounds like you’re more in the market for a type of speaker outside of Apples ecosystem. Sonos is amazing as well as many of the other brands.
